EMR Exotic Bird Breeder is located in sunny Southern California. About 3 years ago, the beauty of exotic birds caught my eye.  "Species I breed" page illustrates my interest in these exquisite creatures.  This hobby has introduced me, to some wonderful people from across the world, many of whom have become cherished friends and confidantes. I enjoy sharing my love of animals with others.

I raise and breed many different species and different mutations of Australian parrots/parakeets. I am enamored with their beauty, magnificent colors and their calm, serene nature and personality.  Australian Parakeets are a main staple here at the ranch. They are all my  favorites.

Along the way,  I acquired some beautiful birds from very generous bird breeders who entrusted me with their stock. I also breed some parrots like Caiques,  Pionus, Red Bellies, the magnificent "Galahs " Rose Breasted cockatoos, Congo African Greys.  I am fascinated with the Green cheek conures (pineapple, turquoise, cinnamon, yellowsided) for their clownish behaviour.  I also have Crimson bellied conure, "Vorens" Black cap conure, White eared Emma, Fiery shouldered conure, the pearly conure, etc.  In addition,  I also have some  Australian Finches, too many to name them all.
